Gretchen Gartin
Parent Board Members
Gretchen and her family have lived in Peachtree Corners for 16 years. She and her husband Bobby have two daughters, Katie a new NHS Blue Devil, class of 2022 and Hannah, a sixth grader at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Her girls have attended both Simpson Elementary and Cornerstone Christian Academy. At each of these schools, Gretchen has served on the PTA board, coordinated classroom activities, and held leadership positions on multiple committees. Gretchen currently holds a committee chair position with NCL (National Charity League) and also established a Welcome Bag Project for the Ronald McDonald House with both her girls. Gretchen and her girls continue to raise ongoing support to sustain this project. After attending last year’s NHSFE Gala, Gretchen knew the NHSFE would be a great way to plug into and support the high school community. She also enjoys being a part of the Cross Country booster club. Gretchen grew up in East Cobb and attended Walton High School and graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  Prior to focusing her time and energy full time on her family and serving in various aspects of the community, she was a teacher with Fulton County Public schools and Simpsonwood United Methodist Church Preschool. In addition to volunteering at school and in the community, Gretchen enjoys long walks, cooking, reading, and Italian food! The Gartin family are members of Perimeter Church.
