Kate joined the board in 2021. She has a BA in French and English from Coe College (Cedar Rapids, IA), and an MEd. in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of Georgia. She was awarded the inaugural Circle of 50 award from the Department of Education at UGA in 2018 for achievements in research and practice in areas of Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development. She recently celebrated her 25th anniversary with Verizon, where she an Associate Director in Learning & Development. She and her husband Todd have lived in Peachtree Corners since 2006, and are personally invested in the success of our local public schools. Her daughter Lauren is NHS Class of 2025, while her sons, Davis (’28) and Owen (’31), look forward to joining the Blue Devil ranks.
