Technology
Routine access to technology in the classroom is critical to student success. Students must be proficient in the use of technology to thrive in our complex, highly technological, knowledge-based world. Likewise, educators must have access to technology to take advantage of the powerful tools that now exist for differentiating and customizing the content, stimulating creativity, and accommodating collaborative learning and group activities while increasing student engagement and increased knowledge retention. Through the years, the Foundation has provided smart-boards, multiple classroom sets of iPad Minis and Nexus tablets, laptops and mobile charging stations, and iPad learning apps for Special Ed and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes.
