Kim Alfonso and her husband, Dario, have called Peachtree Corners home since 2012, together with Kim’s mother and their two sons, who have been part of the Norcross community since 2017 – one now a freshman at Norcross High School and the other a fifth grader at Simpson Elementary. Kim is a Georgia native who grew up in the Roswell area and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Science from Towson University in Towson, Maryland. Dario was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University, and serves as a police officer for the City of Cartersville. Kim brings her HR expertise to the board as Assistant Vice President/HR Business Partner at Cox Enterprises, building on earlier roles at Turner Sports and Paramount, along with nonprofit experience serving on the board of Water at Work Ministry, which supports clean water access in the Dominican Republic. In her first year on the Foundation Board, Kim is excited to focus on sponsorship and community outreach.
