Melinda Byrne
Melinda Byrne joined the Norcross High School Foundation for Excellence board in 2010. She holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction and taught at Norcross High School for 15 years.
Dr. Byrne moved to Peachtree Corners in 2009 with her husband Dan Byrne, the IB Diploma Program Coordinator at Norcross. The Byrnes have three daughters who attend Norcross cluster schools in elementary, middle, and high (NHS class of 2027).
Melinda is vice president of the cross country and track board and is active in local school governance, serving on the school councils at Baldwin Elementary and Pinckneyville Middle, where she is currently council president. She also supports the Pinckneyville cross country team as head of the booster club.
