Norcross High student and Girl Scout Gold award nominee, Anna Grace Smythe, had the vision to create a Sensory Room at Norcross to provide a therapeutic environment for children with processing and sensory disorders.  Funded by bricks purchased at the NHS Foundation for Excellence’s Gala, this new Sensory Room has equipment that works to activate, calm, and stimulate the brain.  Sensory support helps regulate the students and as a result, enables them to continue learning.
