Daniela Taylor, a retired NHS physics teacher, served as the NHS science department chair for 20 years. A self-proclaimed “Dumpster Diver” who retrieved beakers and other equipment from science-related companies near the school, Ms. Taylor went to great lengths to procure resources for her classes, including personal pleas for financial support to TechnologyParkexecutives. She is a recipient of many teaching awards, including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science & Mathematics Teaching and the 1986 NHS Teacher of the Year.
