Weare Gratwick
Weare Gratwick has over 35 years of banking experience and has served as a community leader in Peachtree Corners for over 25 years. Currently, Weare is the Gwinnett Market President for Tandem Bank in Peachtree Corners and serves as the Vice Mayor on the City Council of Peachtree Corners. Weare joined the Norcross High School Foundation Board in 2009 and served through 2018 serving as the Board’s Treasurer from 2011 through 2014. Amber and Weare have lived in Peachtree Corners since 1995 and have two daughter who graduated from Norcross High School, Sarah Ann (2013) and Lydia (2017). Sarah Ann and her husband, Jack Fraser (NHS class of 2013) reside and Peachtree Corners and are expecting there first child this summer. He will be in the NHS class of 2042 or 2043! Weare has served the community in other capacities including Civic Chair of the Peachtree Station Homeowners Association and as a representative of the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association from 2010 to 2012, President of Norcross Baseball from 2002 to 2004, Treasurer of the Norcross Soccer Academy from 2007 to 2010 and Chairman of the Southwest Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce for 2019 and 2020. He served as the Chair of the Steering Committee for Leadership Gwinnett in 2021 and is a graduate of the Class of 2015. He is a 2019 graduate of Atlanta Regional Committee’s Regional Leadership Program. Weare is an active member of the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministry and the Foundation Board for Leadership Gwinnett. A native of Buffalo, New York, Weare grew up in Decatur, Alabama. He holds a M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University, and a B.B.A in Accounting from Emory University.
