“The students work really hard to get to this level of competition, so it’s disappointing when they have to wear a blazer they’re not comfortable in,” explains Ms. O’Connor. “I’m thankful for the NHS Foundation for Excellence Gala donations we’ve received to purchase several new blazers. It really makes a difference to these students as they prepare for their competitions. Confidence is huge in the business world. If you are confident in your clothes then you carry yourself well and that’s the first step to becoming an entrepreneur or emerging business leader, which is what DECA International is all about.”
