The Norcross High School Foundation for Excellence is proud to share that for the second year, our own Robert Katz, was recognized by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) for his positive impact on students’ lives and the local community.
Mr. Katz has spent the 17 years out of 20 years as of his education career at Norcross High School, where he currently teaches physics. Previously Mr. Katz taught various levels of biology, chemistry, and ecology. Outside of the classroom, he volunteers for the Norcross High Interact Club. Over the past decade, he and the student members of the Interact Club have developed and sustained the school’s robust recycling program. The club has also gotten involved with other conservation projects in the greater Norcross community.
Congratulations Mr. Katz for your exemplary work as a teacher and continued commitment to our students and community.
